We have had a few crazy and fun days. We started out by going to my parent's house on Christmas Eve. My family is large so it was a full house with tons going on. We ate dinner and played tons of games.

Ellie found the candy canes and ate several of them. She only had potato chips and candy canes for dinner.

Then we got to the presents. There were so many presents that they didn't come close to fitting under the tree. They stuck out for several feet. Ellie's favorite gift was her plastic flute. I think that every single kid there played on it for a few minutes.

Then we moved on to our house. Ellie woke up excited that Santa had come.

She is starting to understand how to unwrap presents. Almost every present under the tree was for her so she got lots of practice.

She wanted every toy opened as soon as she saw it. It is so much fun to see how excited she was on Christmas morning. Bret also surprised me by getting me the camera that I have been wanting. It was definitely a Christmas that we won't forget!

We then ventured out into the snow for Christmas at Bret's parent's house. We had lunch and Ellie got to open presents again.

Her Aunt Sue and Uncle John surprised her with her first motorcycle. It makes all sorts of fun police siren noises.

We then went home to enjoy dinner with some of our friends, Michael and Wanda. We had a great dinner and went to see Marley & Me. It was the perfect ending to our Christmas day. They also surprised Ellie with Mickey and Minnie Mouse stuffed animals. As you can see she loves them.

This was a wonderful Christmas. We got to see all of our family and some great friends!

Oh my... Lucas would be SO jealous of that Mickey and Minnie! Your Christmas sounded wonderful. We can't wait to start playgroup again in January!
