Merry Christmas

This year we decided to do a blog Christmas letter. That way we can share lots of pictures of our family from this year. We have had a great year. Ellie has changed so much. Last year at this time she was barely walking and talking. Now she talks in complete sentences, knows all of her colors, shapes, the numbers 1-10, and almost all the letters of the alphabet. It seems like she picks up everything so quickly. She loves to point out all of the things that she knows when we are out and about. She amazes us everyday with the new things she can do.

We took Ellie on her first family vacation in April. We rented a beach house in Mission Beach California. We took Ellie to San Diego Zoo, the aquarium in Los Long Beach, and we went to Sea World. We got to spend lots of time playing in the sand at the beach. It was such wonderful trip.

In June we took Ellie on her first camping trip. We went and camped with my entire family. It turned out to be a fun and busy weekend. We will have to take her again next summer.

Ellie loves the snow. This is a picture of her outside during the first snow of the year. She has asked if there is snow every day when she wakes up since. I have a feeling that we are going to get to make a few snowmen this year.

Ellie was our pirate princess for Halloween this year. She loved trick or treating. She thought that getting candy at every house she went to was the best thing ever!

We can't believe that Ellie is 2 already. That last 2 years have gone so fast. She is so much fun to be around. She keeps us very busy.

We have a new addition to our family. This is our new cat Walter. He is so much fun to have around. Ellie loves playing with him everyday. He loves to chase Roland around the house. Roland hasn't been this playful in years. We had a hard time deciding if we should get another cat after Sasha passed away. But getting Walter has been great for everyone. He was exactly what our family needed!
