Herriman Beach

Over the last few weeks I have heard people talking about a reservoir in Herriman that has a sandy beach that you can go swimming at. It took us a while to figure out where it is, but it was completely worth it.

Ellie loves the sand and it didn't take her very long to get it in her hair again. I am starting to think that I am going to have to clean sand out of the bathtub every singe time she gets a bath this summer.

The water was colder than Ellie is used to. After a little while playing on the edge she ventured out and played with Bret in the water for a while.

It was the perfect way for the us to relax and get some family time in.

I wish I would have packed lunches so we could have stayed longer.
I think we might have to make it a Sunday ritual until it gets too cold.
